Bravo Zulu!

MARCH 2017

2016 NLCC Cadet of the Year

PO 3 Jacob Gross has performed admirably over the past year in both his coursework as well as his leadership. His military bearing is a fine example for his peers to emulate. When he came to the unit he was seemed like a meek and quiet young man, he has overcome his inhibitions and has become a very confident yet humble young man. We look forward to another strong year. Keep up the great work.

2016 NSCC Cadet of the Year

SN Gaven Meyer has had a very impressive year. He has hit the books hard and completed two courses and completed three advance trainings. He was appointed as the Battalion Corpsman, and has executed those duties with excellence. I look forward to seeing what he accomplishes in the year and years to come. Keep up the strong work.

Chief Paul Esposito

Chief Esposito has performed to a standard that has been the model of leadership. He has proven time and time again that the needs of his people are his utmost priority. He takes direction and gives direction with poise and honor. He is a fine example of the caliber of young american's the US Naval Sea Cadets is producing.

Bravo Zulu, also referred to as "BZ," is a naval signal, typically conveyed by flaghoist or voice radio, meaning "Well Done"; in addition to U.S. naval forces, it has also been used as part of vernacular slang within NATO and other Allied naval forces.
